46th Annual Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Summer Horsemanship School Program

The Wise County 4-H Horse Club hosted one of the 2017 46th Annual Summer Horsemanship Schools at the NRS Arena. Over the past 44 years, a total of 1,413 schools have been conducted.  Collectively, the program has reached 48,615 youth, parents, and volunteer leaders. The Clinic included riding instruction from Texas A&M University Students.  The Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Summer Horsemanship School Program provides youth and adults a great opportunity to gain a solid foundation and advanced riding skills.  The clinic hosted twenty total students for two days building on skills and knowledge in basic horsemanship, stock horse, speed, and English events.
